Here are three ways Weixin Mini Programs can help.

After You Arrive: Complete Your Arrival Card Online

After arriving in China, you can use the "National Immigration Administration Government Service Platform 12367" Mini Program toaccess the electronic Foreigner Arrival Card service and submit the required information online.

After you submit the information, the system generates a unique electronic QR code that can be used when your Arrival Card details are checked at the port of entry.

Note: Check the latest official guidance before travelling to confirm whether you need to submit an Arrival Card.

During Your Stay: Access Public and Local Services

After arriving in Shenzhen, unexpected needs may come up, such as finding a nearby hospital or booking an appointment.

Several Weixin Mini Programs connect you with public and local services:

● iShenzhen: allows you to check information and appointment options for supported local public services.

● Healthy Shenzhen: helps you find hospitals and access registration services.

For example, if you feel unwell during your visit, you can check hospital information and available registration options from your phone before deciding where to go. If you need to handle a local administrative task, you can check whether the relevant information or appointment service is available through a Weixin Mini Program.

When You Leave: Check Your Tax-Refund Options

Before leaving China, you may want to understand whether your purchases qualify for a departure tax refund and what documents you should prepare. For eligible visitors, the “iPort” Mini Program provides information and services related to the departure tax-refund process.

You can use it to make a tax-refund appointment, use the map to find offline tax-refund locations and review policy information in 14 languages. At the port, you can scan the QR code to complete the relevant tax-refund steps, helping make your departure arrangements more straightforward.
