For users who prefer a more straightforward interface, these sudden changes can be especially confusing. Screen Lock helps keep accidental taps from interrupting the call, so you can stay in the moment instead of having to reconnect or start over.

For extra peace of mind during a call, Screen Lock is just one tap away. Simply tap the small lock icon in the top-right corner of the screen to turn it on during your call.

Once Screen Lock is on, controls such as the microphone, speaker and camera switch are hidden. This leaves you with a cleaner interface that is especially helpful for older users who prefer fewer on-screen controls, as well as parents with young children who may reach for the phone.

With the screen locked, you can hold your phone comfortably and focus on the conversation. When you need the call controls again, tap the lock icon once more to unlock the screen.

How to Use:

1. Open any chat > Tap "+" > Tap "Video Call".

2. Wait for the other person to answer.

3. Once the call is connected, tap the "Lock" icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

4. "Locked" will appear. Tap the icon again to unlock the screen.
